Common questions

How early should I get travel vaccines before a trip?

As a rule of thumb, 4 to 6 weeks before departure. Some courses like Hepatitis A + B combined or HPV are multi-dose schedules that take weeks to months to complete. Late is better than never though, so come in even if your trip is sooner.

Is HPV vaccination useful for adults?

Yes, up to age 45 in many cases. Gardasil 9 protects against the HPV types behind most cervical, throat, anal, and penile cancers. It is most effective before any HPV exposure but still useful for adults who have not been vaccinated.

Do you provide an international vaccination certificate?

Yes. We provide a stamped clinic vaccination record you can carry with you. Bring any previous vaccination records so we can update them in one place.

Are vaccines safe during pregnancy?

Some are actively recommended (influenza, Tdap), others are avoided during pregnancy. We review your situation and the specific vaccine before booking. If you are planning a pregnancy, we will tell you which vaccines are best to complete in advance.
